CS-27

The CS-27 (Abbreviation for Certification Specifications 27) is the construction and approval regulation to be used for small helicopters ( English : "Small Rotorcraft") up to 3,175 kilograms and up to nine passengers , published by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA ). The predecessor of these regulations was the JAR-27 . The equivalent regulations in the USA are FAR -27.

Examples of helicopters in this category are the Robinson R22 and the Bell 429 .
