Cañada Nieto is a town in Uruguay .
geography
It is located in western Uruguay in the area of the Department of Soriano in its sector 3 . North-northwest is the city of Dolores , southwest Agraciada and southeast Palo Solo . The Arroyo del Espinillo passes to the west of the village, and in or near Cañada Nieto are the sources of the two tributaries on the left of the Río San Salvador , del Medio and de los Cerrillos, which run a few kilometers to the northeast . The area to the west of the town is called Cuchilla San Salvador , and the area to the east is called Cuchilla del Corralito .
