The Arroyo del Espinillo is a river in Uruguay .
The river, which belongs to the catchment area of the Río Uruguay, has its source around nine kilometers south-southeast of the town of Cañada Nieto, around two kilometers north of the Ruta 12 . Immediately to the west is the source of the Arroyo Arenal Grande . From there it first flows in a northerly direction, then passes Cañada Nieto in the west at a distance of three to four kilometers, and then changes the direction of flow to the northwest. Passing Chacras de Dolores to the south , it passes under Ruta 21 and north of Colonia Concordias another change of direction to the north. It flows as a left tributary a little more than ten kilometers west of Dolores in the Río San Salvador .
