The Cabo Próspero ( Spanish in Argentina Cabo Muñoz ) is a cape on the Foyn coast of Graham lands north of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located 16 km southwest of Spur Point on the banks of Cabinet Inlet .
Chilean scientists named him after the topographer Próspero Madrid Madrid of the Chilean Navy , officer on board the Angamos in the 1st Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1946–1947). The namesake of the Argentine name has not been passed down.
