Caclic

Caclic is a small village on the Utcubamba River , about 30 kilometers from Chachapoyas in the Chachapoyas District in the Chachapoyas Province , Amazonas , Peru .

The Central Hidroelectrica Caclic is located in Caclic , next to El Muyo one of the central hydropower plants that supply the center of Northern Peru with electrical energy. The Caclic hydropower plant is operated by Electronorte SA . It has an output of 4.8 megawatts.

In the 1999 census, 18 houses were counted in Caclic. In addition to an important police station, Caclic also houses a bridge, which is the intersection of the streets Pedro Ruíz Gallo / Chachapoyas / Luya .

In Caclic there is also a base for the PNP, the Peruvian National Police and a chapel dedicated to the Virgen de los Dolores , the Sorrowful Virgin Mary.
