The Cadle Monolith is a striking, un-iced rock formation on the Black Coast of the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 15 km southeast of Cape MacDonald at the eastern end of the Condor Peninsula .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it in 1974. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1976 after Gary L. Cadle (* 1947), a United States Navy electrician at Palmer Station in 1973.
