Caecilia is a genus of amphibians from the order of the sneak amphibian (Gymnophiona).
description
Within the Caeciliidae family, the eyes are not covered by bones only in the species of the genus Caecilia . There is no temple suture .
Occurrence
The genus occurs in Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, French Guiana, Suriname, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia.
