The Café Elysium is a listed building in the district of Alexisbad in the Harz, which belongs to the town of Harzgerode in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the Selketal in the northern part of Alexisbad at the address Kreisstraße 15. It is registered as a café in the local monument register. A little further east of the building, on the other side of the investments of Selketalbahn flows the Selke .
Architecture and history
The two-storey half - timbered house was built as an excursion restaurant at the end of the 19th century as the spa business increased. The design of the framework is based on the regional tradition in half-timbered construction. The elongated building consists of two gable-side building parts that are connected by an eaves-side structure.
