The Cala d'Or was a Spanish RoRo ship that operated mainly on the route from Palma de Mallorca to Ibiza . The ship sank in 1971.

The car ferry operated by the shipping company “Naviera Mallorquina, SA”, Palma, and built in 1971 by the shipyard “Astilleros de Mallorca, SA”, Palma, measured 8,410 GRT and was 88.6 m (291'8 ″) long , 8 m (45'3 ") wide and had a 8.9 m (29'3") draft. Your identification was AESA-SWD.

During a crossing on October 3, 1971 from Palma de Mallorca to Ibiza, the ship ran onto the rocky bottom on the east side of the island of Ibiza at Punta Almira, near Santa Eulària des Riu . The engine room was flooded, the ship sank and was recorded as a total loss.

Not far from this sinking point, the RoRo ship Don Pedro ran aground in July 2007 two kilometers from the port of Ibiza .
