Calo (* 5. March 1993 in Republic of Macedonia as Benasim Emin ) is a German rapper and singer from Mainz with Macedonian roots. He is under contract with the label Lunatic Music .

Life

In autumn 2016, Calo uploaded the first audio samples of his own songs on his Facebook page. Bugi, manager of rapper Azad and label boss of Bozz Music , became aware of one of these mobile phone videos . Calo signed a management contract with Bugi and has since appeared around the Frankfurt label, which had resumed operations shortly before after a break of several years. With Kalea , Calo's debut single, which combines a trap instrumental with autotune, was released on Azad's YouTube channel in spring 2017. The rapper then appeared with several guest posts on Azad's album NXTLVL . Both the piece Forward and Conor McGregor were released as videos. In winter, Calo coined another album from the Frankfurt label with Jeyz ' So we do it here . So he contributed the refrains to the singles My Soul and Loyalty . Shortly afterwards the singer could be heard on the album Beastmode 3 by Animus .

In spring 2018, Calo released two solo singles independently of Bozz Music through Groove Attack . First came the Honey Money produced by Lucry , followed by the song by the bandit . He then worked with Jeyz on his first EP, which was released on August 24, 2018 under the title Detailz via Epic Records . With Film , La Vida and Milano , the two rappers visually implemented three songs from the publication. At the end of the year a single with Razor and Cleo followed, as well as participation in the album Authentic Athletic 2 by Olexesh . At the same time, Calo and his manager Bugi founded the label Lunatic Music , through which he released his singles Gitana and Gangzta Party in early 2019 in collaboration with the distributor iGroove .
