source rating
laut.de

Robin Schmidt from laut.de rated NXTLVL with three out of a possible five points. In terms of content, Azad remains true to his street rap, but the new trap sound is surprising. The musical productions are "lively and melodic", but "none of the tracks really stand out".

Alexander Barbian from rap.de rated the album positively. Azad is experimenting on NXTLVL “more daring than ever with new sounds” and orientates himself on current trap trends with auto-tune . He remains true to the content and convinces with "his pleasantly dominant voice" and the flow .

Lukas Maier from MZEE also rated NXTLVL positively. He wrote that Azad “set a level that many other artists would have to orientate themselves to.” He praised the work's sound image as well as the textual content and guest contributions. It is an "extremely successful symbiosis of dark, authentic street stories and modern sound - the perfect background music for escalations in the club or fights in the ring."
