AriBeatz
AriBeatz (born May 3, 1995 in Bochum ; civil Ariya Rahimianpour ) is a German-Iranian music producer . It used to be known under the artist name AriBeatz44 - the number 44 as the beginning of the postcode for Bochum.
Life
In Bochum Ariya Rahimianpour grew Iranian Refugees in the workers neighborhood, the son Dahlhausen on. Through musical influence within his family, he came into contact with music at an early age. As the youngest of four sons who were already musically active in the form of compositions and live performances, he was influenced by music from Latin American culture and American hip-hop. At the age of 12 he began to compose his first musical works. At the beginning of his career, primarily Scott Storch and Dr. Dre in hip hop production. At the age of 14 he began to get involved musically in state funding projects in order to open his music to a wider spectrum of audiences for the first time.
In the following years Aribeatz moved mainly in the nationwide, comparatively large hip-hop scene in the Ruhr area . There, productions for local artists and appearances in youth facilities within the boundaries of Bochum and the surrounding area gave him a name. In 2014, it was first released on a professionally distributed studio album with Desperadoz , a collaboration album by rappers Kianush and PA Sports . On this he produced the song Senorita . In the following years further collaborations with artists followed on a national level, but this did not bring about a breakthrough on a large scale.
At the same time there was a tendency towards the disappearance of the musical boundaries of the French and German hip-hop scene, in which trap and dancehall beats from France began to spill over onto the German scene. As a pioneer of the musical upheaval in the German hip-hop scene, Aribeatz recognized these tendencies at an early stage and musically oriented itself towards the sound of French hip-hop. Notable musical influences were, as he himself often emphasizes in interviews, the French producer Therapy, who, together with artists like Kaaris and Booba, consolidated a dark trap sound in the French scene. Recognizing this, Aribeatz established contacts to the French rapeseed scene at an early stage, in which he worked from 2014 to 2016 with artists from the Parisian underground, including the then unknown Algerian artist Soolking . With the latter, a close cooperation was established over the years, which contributed significantly to a common individual sound and ultimately to the success of both.
In 2016 Aribeatz made his breakthrough with a production on the album Okou Gnakouri by Parisian rapper Kaaris , which achieved double platinum status. For the award-winning album, he also managed the production of the track 4 Matic (feat. Kalash Criminell ). This laid the foundation for his success in the following years, in which he established himself as a major player in both the French and German rapeseed scenes. The second was in a state of upheaval at that time and produced a new generation of rappers with a club-ready sound, based on French beats.
This was followed by collaborations with musicians from both scenes such as Soolking, Lacrim, Sofiane , Miami Yacine , Maître Gims , RAF Camora , Veysel , Farid Bang , Kollegah , YL, Bonez MC , Moe Phoenix , AM Lascampia, Djadja & Dinaz. This resulted in 13 gold records and 6 platinum records in Germany, France, Austria and Switzerland in the period from 2017 to 2018.
On November 22, 2019, AriBeatz released his producer album Press Play , on which he collaborated with various German and French rappers. The single Perfekt ( feat.RAF Camora & Sofiane), which was released on November 16, 2018, was able to reach number one in Austria.
