Lost in Paradise is the seventh solo album by German rapper PA Sports . It was released on June 23, 2017 on the independent label Life is Pain and is distributed through Groove Attack .

background

The album was originally due to be released on May 26th. But the date was postponed to June 26th. PA Sports announced this in a video message on Facebook. The first single was HSHC . In this song, PA Sports and Kollegah, among others, disses Estikay , Sentino, Marcus Staiger , Sido and Sun Diego.

Producers of the album were u. a. Joshimixu , Juh-Dee , KD-Beatz and NIZA , who have worked with PA Sports before.

Cover design

The album cover was released on March 20, 2017. It shows a little boy on the beach who turns his back on the viewer. Behind are two boats. A figure with glasses can be seen in the rock wall at the back.

The album was able to place itself at number five in the German album charts. It reached tenth place in Austria and ninth place in Switzerland.

Robin Schmidt from Laut.de judges negatively and writes that PA Sports is "once again presenting an album that really shouldn't have been in this form" . As with his previous album, it contains "too many annoying vocal hooks" and sometimes has a "wrong concept" . Nevertheless, the music "is the only component of the album for a bit of variety" .

The reviewer of Backspin Mag judges the song Verloren im Paradies , the hook is for many "getting used to" , but is nevertheless good to listen to. In this song PA Sports appears "much calmer and more thoughtful" .
