PA Sports
PA Sports , formerly PA , (born April 1, 1990 in Essen ; real name Parham Vakili , Persian : پرهام وکیلی) is a German rapper of Iranian descent.
biography
PA Sports grew up in the Rüttenscheid district of Essen as the youngest son of an Iranian academic family . Mother and father are both trained engineers . He was already active as a rapper at the age of 12 and took part in various freestyle competitions in the Ruhr area - at that time still using the stage name PA Lyricist . This brought him into contact with artists such as Snaga , Pillath and Fard . He founded the rap crew The Collective , with whom he some demo tapes , Kollabosongs as well as the online EP Psycho Shit recorded.
Eko Fresh heard about his crew through Manuellsen , whom a member of Das Kollektiv was in contact with . He invited PA Sports to video shoot Die Abrechnung , a disstrack to Kool Savas . After this collaboration, the first solo songs for PA Sports were created together with Eko Freshs in- house producer Kingsize. Over the next few months, a verbal confrontation with the rapper Favorite took place, which was addressed by both PA Sports in the title The Revival and in Favorite Answer The Truth . The dispute was settled a few years later.
In 2005 PA Sports was a guest on Eko Freshs Mixtape - Bootleg Fick Your Story . At Eko Freshs independent label German Dream he was originally supposed to publish his first solo album, which however did not appear. Instead, he left the label together with Manuellsen in the fall of that year and signed with the Mülheim independent label Shrazy Records .
At the beginning of 2006, PA Sports founded the duo SAW (black on white) with his label colleague at the time, KC Rebell , which released the street tape Black on White in September 2006 . At the same time, PA Sports toured Germany in 2007 together with KC Rebell and Snaga & Pillath .
In 2008, SAW released their debut album Kinder des Zorns on Shrazy Records. The LP included guest contributions from Manuellsen, Jonesmann , La Honda and Favorite , among others . Five months later, PA Sports and KC Rebell left the label again because the collaboration no longer met their expectations.
At the end of 2009 the video single Grausam was released , which he published with KC Rebell and Manuellsen. In April 2010, PA Sports fell out with Manuellsen and left his record label Pottweiler Entertainment . This led to PA Sports' decision to focus more on his solo career from now on.
In March 2011, PA Sports released its debut album The Pursuit of Happiness . On it were among other things titles with Tua and Silla . Farid Bang was initially announced as a guest, but the song was not released at Farid Bang's request. The long player was postponed several times in advance, so autumn 2010, January and February had already been announced as the release periods. Videos on the intro , rap ghetto hierarchy , P.Asozial / paparazzi , thanks to you , good women love bad men and time machines were decoupled from the album .
In 2012 PA Sports released his second solo album Vom Glück zurück , which followed on from his debut album Striving for Happiness . From happiness back reached number 46 in the German album charts in the first week. In 2012, 100 Bars Reloaded was also released , in which he dissected the Offenbach rapper's arrest warrant . The resulting beef was added in 2015. In 2013 the album Machtwechsel was released, which reached position 20 in the charts. In advance, the single Good men love bad women with Mehrzad Marashi was released.
In 2014 he released his fourth solo album HAZE , which entered the German album charts at seventh place. In February 2014 PA Sports founded the label Life Is Pain Entertainment . Kianush is the first official signing on Life Is Pain alongside PA Sports . On September 19, 2014, the collaboration album Desperadoz was released together with Kianush. The album reached number 14 in the German charts and also made it into the top 100 in Austria and Switzerland. In July, his fifth solo album Eiskalter Engel was released , which entered the German and Swiss album charts at number 6. In Austria he charted at number 15. With Eiskalter Engel , PA Sports achieved its greatest success so far.
Another album by the rapper was released in 2016, Back to Fortune , which reached number 6 in the German album charts. In the previous month, excerpts from an interview from the TV Strasseensound website with PA Sports went viral in which he was negative about nationalism and positive about freedom of religion . His statements made him known outside of the rapeseed scene.
At the end of 2016, he announced that he had signed singer Moe Phoenix and rapper Mosh36 to his label Life Is Pain Entertainment .
His album Verloren im Paradies reached 5th place in the charts after a week in 2017.
On July 20, 2018, PA announced on its Instagram page that it was changing its stage name from PA Sports to PA , effective immediately . The reason for this name change was the dispute between him and his long-time friend KC Rebell, which was heated up again with the Disstrack GUILTY 400 . The name change serves, as he also announced in the Disstrack, symbolically as a sign that he has come to an end with his past.
On June 13th, 2019, PA Sports announced that it would change its name again, thereby reverting to its old name "PA Sports". As the reason for this step backwards, PA Sports cited complications with the name change in the various music platforms.
