Banger rebellieren is the third solo album by the German rapper KC Rebell . It was released in 2013 on Farid Bang's independent label Banger Musik (distributed by Groove Attack ).
History of origin
After Rebellismuss (2012), which was published by Wolfpack Entertainment , KC Rebell switched to Farid Bang's label Banger Musik. The main reason for this was the Disstrack Swagga Alarm (2011) against Money Boy , in which KC Rebell took Money Boy on the track under the pretext of writing a feature track. The collaboration with Farid Bang was useful, because he was very successfully represented in the German charts together with Kollegah . Their collaboration album reached number 1 in the German album charts and later received a gold record . In order to benefit from this hype, the two recorded the joint track Kanax in Paris . Other feature guests are RAF Camora , Schwesta Ewa , Vega and PA Sports . Most of the productions come from Marcel Uhde ( Juh-Dee ), but Joshimixu , Joshi Mizu , Sean Ferrari, Filip Dzienziol, CuBeatz and Lamagra are also represented.
In addition to the normal release, the album was also released as a box set in a "Limited Amazon Edition" with a T-shirt in size L, a poster, an autograph card and a sticker. An instrumental CD was included as a bonus CD . The album also contains the two bonus tracks 600 Benz (Remix) feat. Farid Bang and Summer Cem as well as Morgen . A download version with two bonus tracks was released via iTunes .

Charts
The album entered the German, Austrian and Swiss charts. In Germany the album came to number two, in Austria to number 5 and in Switzerland Banger rebellieren was able to reach number 6 on the charts. The first and only single Kanax in Paris (continued on the following album Rebellution with Kanax in Moscow ) reached number 60 in the German and number 66 in the Austrian single charts.
criticism
The album received various reviews. Janiv Koll from rap.de awarded eight out of ten stars. With Banger rebel KC Rebell is a "very solid, sometimes very good and, above all, varied rap album." Erich Unrau from hiphop.de was of a similar opinion, “both in terms of content and beat technique” the album would convince “across the board”. He rated the album 7.5 out of 10 stars. Dani Fromm from laut.de, however, only awarded two stars out of five, "the usual inconsistencies" would remain. With a rating of just one of six possible mics, an author from rappers.in was just as unconvinced that Banger wanted to rebel “rebellion, tenderness and realness”, but was “ultimately trying to be more”.
