Reflectionz (born January 11, 1993 in Hamburg , civil: Marc Glücks ) is a music producer from Berlin and co-founder of the local label 21 Gramm , which is distributed by Caroline International . He produces for various artists from German-speaking countries and worked in particular with Kollegah , Massiv , Farid Bang , Chakuza and KC Rebell . Since 2020, Reflectionz has also been producing for international artists.

Career

He first attracted attention in 2012 with the production of the title Al Massiva Beutejagd on the album Solange Mein Herz Beats von Massiv (then under the name bpmuzic ). In 2013 he produced four other tracks in addition to MBIYAD on Massiv's Blood Against Blood 3 album . A year later, Reflectionz produced two more tracks in addition to Reboot on the album Mukke from lower class 4 by Bizzy Montana. In 2016 he produced the title Nero on Kollegah's album Imperator , which was also released as a single. In the same year Reflectionz released his first own single Weg together with Richter.

He studied audio engineering and audio production at SAE Berlin . In November 2016, Reflectionz founded Above Zero GmbH , based in Berlin, which is active in music production . Since then, Reflectionz has regularly published new productions on his company's YouTube channel.

2017 he produced MA on the album Eye of the Tiger of Majoe . He also composed Hiroshima , Tornadotorpedo and Didgeridoo on the album Blackout 2 by Chakuza & Bizzy Montana. In early 2017, the title Legacy , which he produced, was released initially as a single and in July on the Kollegah album of the same name together with Lucifer . In addition, Reflectionz worked on Kollegah's and Farid Bang's album Jung Brutal Gutaussehend 3 for the title Jagdsaison , which was released on December 1, 2017 and was awarded platinum. In 2020, Reflectionz composed the single So Stupid by Leona Griffin & Wafande with Joe Chen and Pepperjuice , his first release both in the pop world and internationally.

Reflectionz relies on a mix of synthetic and organic sounds in his productions, which is due in particular to the plugins he uses.
