The company was founded in 1914 under the name Vesters as a body shop in Liège . After the end of the First World War , it was renamed Vesters & Nerinck and moved into new plants in Brussels. Since the mid-1920s, the company has specialized in the design and manufacture of individual, high-priced car bodies for chassis from Delage , Delahaye and Minerva . By the beginning of the 1930s at the latest, Vesters & Neirinck preferred to build Bentley and Rolls-Royce chassis. Of particular importance was the Bentley 4¼ liter , of which Vesters & Neirinck provided at least 11 chassis with individual bodies. In individual cases, chassis from Oldsmobile and Graham were also clad.

Vesters & Neirinck was not a series manufacturer. The superstructures were designed individually for each customer. Even if they were similar in details, they were basically unique. The Vesters & Neirinck bodies enjoyed a reputation for exceptionally high quality craftsmanship. In terms of style, they were considered reserved.

Production slowed towards the end of the 1930s. Individual vehicles were still built after the end of World War II, including a four-door convertible based on the Austin A125 Sheerline , which was completed in 1949.
