Jamule

Jamule (civil Jamal Manuel Issa Serrano , Arabic جمال مانويل عيسى سيرانو; * November 22, 1996 in Duisburg ) is a German rapper with Spanish and Lebanese roots from Essen .

Childhood and youth

Immediately after the birth, his parents moved to Mülheim an der Ruhr and a year later to Essen , where he grew up in the Kray district . However, he went to school in Mülheim an der Ruhr and had to commute. His father comes from Lebanon , his maternal family from a village in Andalusia .

Jamule comes from a family of musicians. His mother, Maria Serrano Serrano was a member of the pop group Passion Fruit as a dancer and was killed on November 24, 2001 in a plane crash ( Crossair flight 3597 ). Jamule grew up with his father. He started making music as a child. Jamule finished his school after the tenth grade and began training as a merchant in wholesale and foreign trade, which he dropped out after a year. He then did part-time jobs, including working as a bartender.

Career

In 2017 he joined forces with the producer duo Miksu & Macloud, since then every release, except for the collaboration "Unterwegs" with the producer trio Kitschkrieg for their album "Kitschkrieg", has been produced by the rapper. In October 2018, it was announced via Instagram that Jamule had signed an artist contract with PA Sports' label Life is Pain . Before that, Jamule should not have released a single song.

With his debut single NBA , Jamule immediately hit the German single charts . His first EP called Ninio was released on March 1, 2019 via Life is Pain . After the announcement of his first album for the following year, he accompanied Luciano on his Millies tour in December 2019 . His debut album LSD was released on February 14, 2020 with a delay. The album and the single Ich hol dich ab reached number five in the respective charts. In August 2020, a video was published in which he made racist comments.
