Life

Mert founded his YouTube channel itsMertTV on August 22, 2011. There he publishes vlogs , music videos and entertainment videos. In the beginning in particular, he showed gaming videos from FIFA in the Fifa Kingz format , where he mostly competed against various rappers such as Alpa Gun , Massiv or Ufo361 . In 2015 he started rapping. His debut video Ausländer and his EP AMK , released in 2016, were successful in the iTunes charts . Foreigners reached number 63 in the German charts. At the end of 2016 there was also a collaboration with the now very successful rapper Samra . At the time, the two released a track called U21, which was very well received by the community. Musically, he mainly serves aggressive street rap.

In 2016, his channel had 500,000 subscribers. In 2017 his first album Kunde ist König was released , on which he mixed his street sound with AutoTune into Cloud Rap , which was successful at the time . The album reached number 2 in the German album charts.

After some arguments with his former label Husla Music in 2019, he announced that he had founded his own label called Mula Brothers. On March 6, 2020, he announced his first signing with the name Z with the track U23 .

Controversy

In 2017, in the course of a dispute with Youtubers, Mert published a statement video in which he described homosexuality as "inhuman", among other things . His former network Divimove then terminated the cooperation with him. In interviews afterwards, however, he denied having anything against homosexuals and later apologized for the video as well.
