One (dt. One ) is a collaborative album of German rapper Kool Savas and Azad . It was released on March 29, 2005 on the labels Sony BMG , Optik Records , Bozz Music and Subword as a basic version and limited edition.

production

The beats for the album come from German producers Sti, Monroe and Martelli as well as from American producers Needlz, Sholar, LES and Kwamé. Kool Savas and Azad also contributed one or two instrumentals themselves. The bonus song was produced by the German rapper Amar.

Cover design

The album cover is mostly gray. It shows Azad and Kool Savas , both dressed in jackets, necklaces and caps, standing in front of a corner of the house. On the wall of the house you can see a fist with the word One . In the upper part of the picture there is the lettering KoolSavas & Azad in gray.

Guest Posts

Only two of the songs on the album feature other people besides the two rappers. The chorus of the piece All 4 One is sung by a children's choir . The German soul and R&B singer Xavier Naidoo has a guest appearance on What did I do to you .

Philipp Gässlein from laut.de rated the album with four out of a possible five points and describes it as “a monster collabo, for which all the waiting was worth it” and as the “highlight of the German rap year 2005”. The styles of the two rappers complement each other well and the productions are consistently successful. Only the songs "Alles was geht", "Banana II" and "What did I do to you" were a bit out of the ordinary.
