LES (real name: Leshan David Lewis ) is a hip-hop producer who is often associated with the rapper Nas , as his first production was Life's A Bitch for Nas' debut album Illmatic .

He was born in the infamous Queensbridge Projects in New York , where other well-known artists such as Nas, Mobb Deep ( Prodigy and Havoc ), Capone-N-Noreaga , Marley Marl and Cormega also come from.
