The Bozz is the third solo album by the Frankfurt based Azad . It is the first album that the rapper has released on his own label Bozz Music . It was released on July 5, 2004. In Germany, Der Bozz entered the top 10 of the album charts. It was also released in Switzerland , where it reached number 66.
On September 27, 2004, the only single head high appeared , which includes three remix versions and the video.
Since December 31, 2005, the Bozz may only be sold to adults. The tracks Judgment Day and Blackout were the reason for the indexing . The Federal Testing Office for Media Harmful to Young People complained about the portrayals of violence and misogynistic aspects of the album. Due to the indexing, a "light" version of the album was released.
On December 8, 2006, Der Bozz was released in a remix version. The music on the album was produced entirely by Bozz Music member Sti. There are also two additional tracks on the album.
