X-plosive
X-plosive , also X-plosive Beats , (born January 7, 1986 ; real name Thomas Keßler ) is a German music producer . X-plosive worked u. a. with Bushido , Booba , Lil Nas X , Nicki Minaj , Rea Garvey , Azad , Amel Bent , Soprano , Matt Pokora , Rohff , Fler , Snaga & Pillath , RAF Camora , Bonez MC , Nazar , Kollegah , Sido and Metrickz .
Life
Thomas Keßler completed a classical piano training and played in a jazz band for a long time. He studied business informatics.
Keßler names the producer Timbaland as a musical role model .
Productions
Germany
Together with Gee Futuristic he produced the songs Dogs That Bark, Don't Bite , It comes as it comes and Boomerang on Bushido's album Heavy Metal Payback . The album entered the German album charts at number 1 and achieved gold status in Germany and Austria.
He also produced various songs on albums by Azad, Raf Camora & Nazar, Kollegah and Snaga & Pillath.
Together with Gee Futuristic as well as solo, he produced most of Fler's album Airmax Muzik II , which was released in April 2011 . The album entered the German album charts at number 6, reached number 7 in Austria and number 9 in Switzerland.
On May 13, 2011, Nazar's album Fakker , X-plosive produced the track Exibitionist in collaboration with Raf Camora & The Royals. The album went to number 6 in the album charts in Austria and number 36 in Germany.
X-plosive also produced various tracks solo and together with Gee Futuristic on Fler 's album Im Bus at the very rear, which was released on September 16, 2011 . The album entered the German album charts at number 3, in Switzerland at number 7 and in Austria at number 9.
X-plosive produced several tracks on the album AMYF by Bushido, which was released on October 12, 2012 . The album entered the official album charts in Germany and Switzerland at number 1. He also produced various titles on the album Behind Blue Eyes , released by Fler on November 2, 2012 , which reached number 3 in the German album charts.
He produced two tracks on the album Die Passion Whiskey by Silla , which was released on December 7, 2012 , including features by MoTrip and JoKa.
In addition to other productions published in 2013 a. a. on albums such as "Fakker Lifestyle" by Nazar and Masculine Mixtape 3 by Fler , on which he produced the track Hardcore with features by Silla, Animus and Francisco, he worked as an executive producer with Metrickz on his debut album Ultraviolett . The album reached number 1 on the ITunes and Amazon charts (digital).
On the album Sonny Black , released on February 14, 2014, he produced the title A Thousand Reasons . The album entered the album charts in Germany as well as Switzerland and Austria and reached gold status in all three countries.
He produced the track Kanax on the album Camouflage by Nazar, which was released on August 22, 2014. The album entered the charts at number 2 in Germany and number 1 in Austria, where it achieved gold status.
In 2015 he worked with KC Rebell on his album Fata Morgana , which was released on June 12th, and produced the title My own thing . The album entered the album charts at number 1 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Together with DJ Desue produced X-plosive three titles on the published on September 4, 2015 Album VI of Sido , including the lead single home, the world is still in order featuring Adel Tawil . The album achieved gold status in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
X-plosive produced the tracks "Attackieren" and "Cabriolet" on the album "Palmen aus Plastik" by RAF Camora & Bonez MC , released on September 8, 2016 . The album entered the album charts at number 1 in Germany and Switzerland and was awarded platinum in Germany and gold in Austria and Switzerland.
On October 28, 2016 Kool Savas released a mixtape called Essahdamus with Triumph produced by X-Plosive (feat. Sido , Azad & Adesse ).
In 2017, X-plosive produced among other things on the album "Distance" by KC Rebell which entered the album charts at number 1 in Germany and Switzerland and was awarded gold status in Germany. He was also involved in the production of two tracks on the joint album "Maximum" by KC Rebell and Summer Cem . The album debuted at number 1 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The single "Murcielago" co-produced by X-plosive was awarded the Golden Record in Germany in November 2017.
X-plosive produced several tracks on the album "Anthracite" by RAF Camora, which was released on August 25, 2017 . The album entered the album charts at number 1 in both Germany and Austria and was awarded gold in both countries. X-plosive produced & a. the single "Primo", which reached platinum status.
In 2018 he and Abaz were largely involved in the production of Rea Garvey's album NEON . The album was awarded gold in Germany. The Single Is it love? featuring Kool Savas was also awarded gold in Germany and platinum in Switzerland.
France
He produced the second official single Ma Couleur on the album Lunatic by Booba , which was released in November of 2010. The album reached platinum status and entered the official album charts at number 1.
Together with Gee Futuristic, he produced the song Le mal de toi on Amel Bent's album Où Je Vais , which was released as a single including video. The album debuted at number 9 and achieved platinum status with well over 100,000 units sold.
On the album La Cuenta von Rohff he produced the song Tu pardonneras which featured the singer Jena Lee . The album reached gold status.
He also co-produced with Gee Futuristic different titles on the album Mise à Jour of Matt Pokora . The album achieved double platinum status, the first single Juste une photo de toi was also produced by Gee Futuristic and X-plosive and in 2011 received the NRJ Award for “Best Song of the Year 2010” in France.
In March 2011, the single Regarde Moi with soprano, produced by X-plosive, was released in France. The album Le Corbeau entered the French album charts at number 3. The official video for the single was released on April 15, 2011.
He produced the single published June 1, 2011 100 Regrets of Sinik . The associated street album Le Côté Malsain rose to number 8 on the official album charts in France.
On the album À Toute Épreuve by the group Sniper , released on October 3, 2011, he produced the title J'essaye d'oublier . The track for La Gueule De L'Emploi was created in collaboration with Gee Futuristic . The album reached position 5 on the French album charts.
He is represented with a production on the album PDRG by Rohff , released on November 23, 2013 in France . The album debuted at number 2 on the official album charts and number 1 on the iTunes charts. It achieved platinum status.
In 2014 there was another collaboration with the artist Soprano . He produced his first single Ils nous connaissent pas , which was also included on the album Cosmopolitanie released on October 13, 2014 . The album was awarded diamond status in France.
2015 he produced several tracks on the published on 13 April 2015 Album DUC of Booba , including the singles 3G , LVMH and Bellucci featuring Future . The album debuted at number 1 on the French and Belgian album charts and was awarded double platinum.
He also produced the single 92i Veyron on the album Nero Nemesis released by Booba on December 4, 2015 . The album was awarded gold after two weeks and reached double platinum status. The video for the single was released on February 5, 2016. The single 92i Veyron was awarded diamond status on September 7, 2017.
X-plosive produced two tracks on Kalash's gold-winning album “Mwaka Moon” in 2017. Other productions from X-plosive include a. the tracks “ELEPHANT” and “À la folie” on Booba's album “Trône”, released on December 1, 2017 . The album was awarded triple platinum status, the single "ELEPHANT" platinum and the single "À la folie" gold in France.
Further productions were made for albums by artists such as Casus Belli, Amy & Bushy, Youssoupha , David Carreira, Kayna Samet and Alonzo from Psy 4 de la Rime .
United States
Together with Gee Futuristic he produced the song Keys under palm trees on Nicki Minaj's mixtape Beam Me Up Scotty . He has also worked on songs with and for artists such as T-Pain , Partynextdoor , Wale , Gucci Mane , Lyrica, Young MA, Francisco, Safaree, Phyllisia, Joell Ortiz , Crooked I , G Malone and Termanalogy.
He co-produced the track "C7osure" on Lil Nas X's EP "7", released on June 21, 2019 . The EP was awarded platinum by the RIAA in the USA and was nominated for a Grammy in the category "Album of the Year".
In 2019 he also worked with artists such as John Legend , PnB Rock , A Boogie wit da Hoodie and Jason Derulo . The title "Champion" with Jason Derulo became the official theme song for the 2019 Basketball World Cup in China.
