A boogie wit da hoodie
A Boogie wit da Hoodie (born December 6, 1995 in Bronx , New York ; civil artist Julius Dubose ) is an American rapper.
biography
Artist Dubose grew up in the Highbridge neighborhood of New York's Bronx and began rapping as a teenager. For some time he also lived in Florida, where he made his first recordings. In 2015 he returned to New York and founded the label Highbridge the Label with Quincy Acheampong . In early 2016 he released his first mixtape artist , which hit the US charts straight away . With the included songs My Shit and Jungle , he won two platinum awards. Another mixtape followed immediately with rapper Don Q. He signed with Atlantic Records and released his first EP in the fall of that year, entitled TBA , which entered the top 10 of the rap charts, and the third platinum single, Timeless .
He was included in the Freshman Class 2017 newcomer list in XXL magazine . He completed his first album The Bigger Artist by autumn 2017, with prominent guest musicians such as 21 Savage , Chris Brown and Trey Songz , among others . The pre-release Drowning with Kodak Black made it into the top 40 of the single charts and reached triple platinum. The album hit # 1 on the rap and R&B charts and debuted at # 4 on the official sales charts. The album Hoodie SZN made it to number 1 on the US charts due to the high streaming views - 83 million - even though the album was only sold about 823 times as a physical music carrier. In June 2019, a remix of the single Swervin appeared on the YouTube channel of the German rapper Veysel , on which he is represented together with Dubose. The original single with a guest part by the American rapper 6ix9ine is one of the most successful tracks by A Boogie wit da Hoodie with one gold award and three platinum awards.
Dubose's third studio album Artist 2.0 was released on February 14, 2020 . It includes guest parts from artists such as Lil Uzi Vert , Roddy Ricch , DaBaby , Khalid and more.
