Paulo Londra

Paulo Ezquiel Londra (born April 12, 1998 in Córdoba ) is an Argentine rapper and singer. At the end of 2018 he had his international breakthrough with the single Adán y Eva .

biography

The film 8 Mile by US rapper Eminem brought Paulo Londra to rap when he was 14. He took part in public rap battles, including El Quinto Escalón , the country's largest battle event in the capital, Buenos Aires . As a result, he garnered a huge following on social media. The breakthrough came in January 2017 with his song video Relax on YouTube , which had 10 million views in the first four weeks, which multiplied over the course of the year. The videos for Me tiene mal and Condenado par el millon , which he published in the same year, even exceeded the 100 million mark. Nena maldición , which he put online in January 2018, became his most successful YouTube video with over 750 million views and earned him his first platinum award.

Major label Warner signed the Argentine and brought him to Miami to record . The single Te amo together with the Latin quartet Piso 21 became his first international chart hit in Latin America and Spain in spring 2018. The first big hit was shortly afterwards Cuando te besé together with Becky G , which reached number 10 in Spain and was awarded double platinum there and in the USA. At the end of the year, the number one hit Adán y Eva followed , which brought further platinum records and also entered the charts in countries such as Italy and Switzerland. The single was a pre-release for Londra's debut album Homerun , which confirms its success and was able to place itself at number 3 in Spain and number 12 on the Latin charts in the USA.

In summer 2019 he was also invited by Ed Sheeran to take part in his No.6 Collaborations Project . The album of the same name was one of the best-selling of the year worldwide. He can then be heard in the song Nothing on You alongside UK rapper Dave .
