M. Pokora
M. Pokora (born September 26, 1985 in Strasbourg ; also Matt Pokora or MP , real name Matthieu Tota ) is a French pop and RnB singer who has parents with Polish roots.
Career
He won the French version of pop stars with two others in 2003 and formed the rap group Linkup with them. After the group broke up, he started a solo career. His first solo album came out in 2005. His first two singles Showbizz and Elle me contrôle (sold around 400,000 times) were very successful. In 2006 his second album Player came out, which also celebrated great success. Among other things, Ricky Martin invited him to sing a duet with him ( It's Alright ).
In the spring of 2008 his single Dangerous was released , which arose from a collaboration with Timbaland . In France she was able to reach 1st place in the charts. His third album was released in March 2008 under the title MP3 . His second single is They Talk Shit About Me , for which he sings a duet with rapper Verse ( Natalia Cappuccini ). His third single is Catch Me If You Can and was also produced by Timbaland.
His fourth studio album, Mise à Jour , was released on August 20, 2010. The first single Juste Une Photo De Toi was released on June 7, 2010 and was produced by Gee Futuristic and X-plosive . On March 11, 2011, the album Updated was released , which was recorded as an international version of his fourth album with English-language lyrics.
In 2011 he took part in the first season of the dance show Danse avec les stars and reached first place.
