Camelback Ridge is a short mountain ridge in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the Jones Mountains it rises immediately west of the Pemmican Bluff . A special feature are the two elevations at the ends of the mountain ridge with heights of 1180 m and 1141 m respectively .
The team from the University of Minnesota , which explored the Jones Mountains from 1960 to 1961, named it after its appearance, which is reminiscent of a camel's back with the two elevations .
