John Allan Cameron (1990)

Cameron Allan (born July 9, 1955 in Melbourne , Australia , † June 25, 2013 in South Pasadena , California ) was an Australian composer .

Life

Cameron Allan was born in Melbourne and grew up in Sydney . During his time at Meadowbank Boys High School Cameron , he applied to study at a music conservatory, but was rejected the first time. He was only allowed to study with his second application. After completing his studies, he composed music for theater performances as well as for the Australian television station ABC .

For the Australian director Jim Sharman he composed his first two film scores, Summer of Secrets and The Night, the Prowler .
