The Campaspe River is a river in the east of the Australian state of Queensland .
geography
River course
The river has its source at Mount Stewart , around 75 kilometers west of Charters Towers and flows southeast. It crosses under the Flinders Highway at Kimburra and runs in its lower reaches parallel to Gregory Developmental Road . At the settlement of Nosnillor it flows into the Cape River .
