The Campo de Futebol Adelino Rodrigues (also Campo do Liceu ) is a sports stadium in the center of Funchal , the capital of the Portuguese island of Madeira .
The soccer field is surrounded on three sides by stands that can accommodate around 3,000 spectators. The clay pitch was replaced by artificial turf in 2003. The main users are the local football club CS Madeira and the Madeira University team .
During the construction of the Estádio dos Barreiros , the clubs Marítimo and Nacional played their home games there from 1954 to 1957. From 2008 the stadium was the home of the then second division club União Madeira .
