Campora San Giovanni ( Campura San Giuvanni or Campura Santu Janni ) is a fraction of Amantea in the Italian province of Cosenza , on the border with the province of Catanzaro ( Calabria ). The place has 7,200 inhabitants.

Major sources of income for Campora San Giovanni are agriculture and tourism . The red Tropea onion , which is also an important export product, has been grown in the region since the middle of the 20th century . A holiday complex was built in the village.
