Canan Büyrü

Canan Büyrü (* 1972 in Bochum ) is a German journalist , presenter and media expert .

Life

After studying journalism and communication studies , English and Romance studies at the Ruhr University and the French Université Francois Rabelais Tours , Büyrü has been a research assistant at the Institute for Media Studies since 2001.

Since January 1999 she has been working as an author and presenter at WDR Funkhaus Europa , as well as various journalistic activities, including for various European radio stations, but also for print media such as Bochum's WAZ and online magazines such as "Polit-Poker".

Büyrüs has been moderating the music program with live talk Çılgın on WDR for years by her and her colleague Oguzhan Celik, and is considered a cult program by the German-Turkish target group.

Büyrü is currently working on her doctorate .
