Candy Six is a German pop music project that was founded in 2010 and initially consisted of playmates Mia Gray and her cousin Nicole Belke .

history

After Gray and Belke got to know two music producers , some rehearsal songs were recorded in a recording studio near Stuttgart . The band name comes from a Playboy photo series of the Candyland party series, which was titled "Candy". The sixth photo in the series was named "Candy 6". Oliver Burghart acted as manager . As a first release, a cover version of the title Boys was selected, which was entitled Boys, Boys, Boys . The accompanying video shows the two of them in sexy poses and skimpy clothes washing their cars in the Mr. Wash car service station in Stuttgart . The former professional boxer René Weller , who appeared in the video, was hired as a guest star . the video was produced by Bandito Films and directed by Milos Savic .

After that, the band had several TV appearances, including the Oliver Pocher Show on Sat.1 and an appearance on Big Brother on RTL II . There followed a Germany-wide Club - Tour .

In early 2011, the duo announced the split, as Nicole Belke had to leave Candy Six for personal reasons . Gray then ended the collaboration with their producers. A new start came when she met the singer Patricia Banks a few months later at an event . The first song together was called Life Is Rich . This was followed by appearances at SWR Fashion & Musik , the opening of the Cannstatter Wasen and in December 2012 at the NRJ Music Tour in Stuttgart. In 2012 her single Close Your Eyes was released . In 2013, however, Patricia Banks left for private and time reasons.

Mia Gray continues the project alone with changing guest musicians. In 2014 her last single Paradise was released , which she recorded with Oliver Kobs .
