The Canim Lake is a lake in the central eastern part of the Canadian province of British Columbia .
Canim Lake is located in the south of the Quesnel Highlands at an altitude of 772 m . The 56.1 km² lake has a length of 25.9 km. Canim Lake is a maximum of 3.4 km wide. The maximum water depth is 208.5 m, the mean water depth 84.1 m. Bridge Creek flows into the western end of the lake . At the eastern end of the lake, Canim Lake is drained from the Canim River to Mahood Lake, which is further east . Canim Beach Provincial Park, 8 acres in size, is located on the north western shore . The lake is accessible via a paved road from 100 Mile House . The lakeshore is lined with coniferous forest, mainly consisting of common Douglas fir .
