The Bridge Creek is an approximately 100 km long river in the central east of the Canadian province of British Columbia . Between 1915 and 1941 the entire course of the river up to the Clearwater River was still called Bridge Creek . Then the lower stretches of the river were renamed Canim River and Mahood River .
Bridge Creek is in the south of the Quesnel Highlands . It forms the drain of Bridge Lake . It initially flows 50 km west through the Interlakes District . It flows through Lesser Fish Lake , Roe Lake and Horse Lake . At 100 Mile House , Bridge Creek turns northeast. It eventually flows into the western end of Canim Lake . The Bridge Creek shows a strongly meandering behavior along its entire course of the river .
