The Rendezvous Rocks are an isolated series of south-facing rocky outcrops in the northwest of the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . At a height of about 945 m, they rise south of the Khamsin Pass and 8 km southwest of the Kinnear Mountains .
Scientists from the British Antarctic Survey conducted surveys between 1970 and 1972. They named the formation after the fact that two dog sled teams coming from different directions met here in 1970 .
