The Cantrell Peak is a 1,895 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the northern part of the Everett Range in the Concord Mountains, it rises 10 km north-northeast of Mount Calvin on the southern edge of the Ebbe Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the mountain in 1970 after Robert L. Cantrell of the United States Marine Corps , pilot of an LC-130 Hercules to take aerial photographs of Operation Deep Freeze in 1968 and 1969.
