Heiner Scheffold

Heiner Scheffold (born October 28, 1962 in Alpirsbach ) is a Swabian local politician . He has been the district administrator of the Alb-Donau district since October 1, 2016 .

Career

Scheffold was born in Alpirsbach in the Black Forest and spent his school and youth there. After completing his military service, he studied forestry at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg from 1983 to 1988 . After his legal clerkship in Herrenberg and Geislingen / Steige (1988–1989) he took over the provisional management of the Tübingen Forestry Office . In 1991 he became a consultant for human resources and organization and in 2005 he became head of the Rural Area Policy Department at the Baden-Württemberg Ministry for Rural Areas and Consumer Protection . In 2009 he was appointed managing director of the Landesforstbetrieb ForstBW . In February 2013 he was appointed First State Official and Deputy District Administrator in the Alb-Danube District. On July 11, 2016, the district council of the Alb-Danube district elected Heiner Scheffold as the district administrator of the Alb-Donau district with 57 out of 58 votes.

Private

Scheffold is married and has three children. He lives in Ehingen . Since 1983 he has been a member of the Catholic student association KDStV Hercynia Freiburg im Breisgau .
