Wilhelm Buehler

Wilhelm Bühler (born May 22, 1926 in Ulm ; † June 1, 2006 ) was a Baden-Württemberg politician and district administrator of the Alb-Danube district .

education and profession

Wilhelm Bühler attended the Kepler High School in Ulm from 1937 to 1946 . From 1946 to 1950 he studied law in Tübingen and Dillingen. In 1953 he received his doctorate in Tübingen. From 1954 to 1956 he was a government assessor at the district offices in Göppingen and Ulm. In 1957 he became a councilor and in 1965 a senior government councilor. In 1965 he became the first state official at the Esslingen district office ; In 1967 he was promoted to government director.

From 1967 to 1972 Wilhelm Bühler was district administrator of the Ulm district and from 1973 to 1989 district administrator of the Alb-Donau district, which emerged from the district reform . From 1981 to 1989 he was President of the Baden-Württemberg District Association and from 1985 to 1988 Vice President of the German District Association .

From 1967 to 1983 he was district chairman of the DRK in Ulm and from 1975 to 1982 vice-president of the Baden-Württemberg regional association of the DRK.

Wilhelm Bühler had been awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on Bande since 1981 . In 1986 he received the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class and on March 13, 1989 the Great Cross of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany . Also in 1989 he was honored with the Medal of Merit of the Baden-Württemberg District Assembly, and in 1992 he received the medal of the University of Ulm.
