Cao Zhongrong ( Chinese 曹忠荣 ; born November 3, 1981 in Shanghai ) is a Chinese pentathlete .
Career
Cao Zhongrong took the first time in 2008 at the Olympic Games in part, he finished at the end of the 30th place. In 2012 he placed second behind David Svoboda and thus won the silver medal. At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , he finished the individual competition in 16th place.
At world championships , Cao won bronze with the relay first in 2006 and silver a year later . Another bronze medal followed in 2012 , this time mixed with Zhang Ye . He also celebrated successes at the 2010 Asian Games with victory in the individual competition and the silver medal in the team competition.
