Cape Geology (from English geology ' geology ' ) is a low point of land overlaid with rubble on the Scott coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It marks the west entrance to Botany Bay in the southern part of Granite Harbor .
The cape was mapped and named by the western group of the British Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913), who set up a camp here for their geological investigations.
