The Botany Bay is a small bay on the Scott Coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is located in the southern part of Granite Harbor between Cape Geology and Discovery Bluff .
The bay was mapped by the western group of the British Terra Nova Expedition (1911-1913) under the direction of the polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott . Thomas Griffith Taylor and Frank Debenham , the two Australian members of the Western Group, named them after Botany Bay in Australia .
