Cape Possession ( English for the Cape of possession ) is a cape , the western foothills of Chanticleer Iceland in the Palmer Archipelago northwest of the Antarctic Peninsula forms.
The British polar traveler Henry Foster named it after he landed here on January 7, 1829 while traveling on the HMS Chanticleer (1827-1831).
