Caren Jeß

Caren Erdmuth Jeß (born 1985 in Eckernförde ) is a German writer .

Professional background

Caren Jeß studied German Philology and Modern German Literature in Freiburg im Breisgau and Berlin. She first appeared as a playwright in 2017, when she won third prize at the Osnabrück Dramatist's Prize with her play Deine Mutter or Der Schrei der Möwe . Jeß lives in Dresden.
