Carey Hart (born July 17, 1975 in Las Vegas , Nevada ) is an American motocross rider .

Career

Hart started motocross at the age of six. From 1993 to 1996 he was professionally active in supercross races. Carey Hart, who was mainly active in Freestyle Motocross (FMX) from 1996 , dared some new and dangerous tricks at such events. So he introduced the "hard attack", named after him, a stretched handstand on the motorcycle while jumping. Hart was the first freestyle rider to show a backflip at the X-Games 2000 , but he crashed. His greatest successes were second place at the Summer X Games 2002 in Big Air and first place at the Australian X Games of the same year.

According to his own statement, in the course of his career he broke both arms and legs twice, often barely escaped death and had to spend two to three years of his life in a wheelchair. His brother, then 21, had a fatal accident in 2008 while training at a motocross event.

Familiar

Carey Hart has been married to the American singer Pink since January 7, 2006 . Their daughter was born on June 2, 2011. Their first son was born on December 26, 2016.

Hart also starred in several of his wife's music videos: Just Like a Pill (2001), So What (2008), Raise Your Glass (2010), Just Give Me a Reason and True Love (both 2013).

Carey Hart is a keen hobby musician and was already a guest musician on the electric bass for Pennywise on the Warped Tour 2001.
