Carien Kleibeuker (born March 12, 1978 ) is a Dutch speed skater .

Life

Carien Kleibeuker is a long-haul specialist. It was first used in the World Cup in November 1999 in Heerenveen . It was only used sporadically until the 2005/06 season. Since she only competes on the routes over 3000 and 5000 meters, her appearances on an international level are still manageable. Her best position so far was an eighth place over 3000 meters on her home track in Heerenveen. At the 2000 World Championships in Nagano she was fourth over 5000 meters with a victory by Gunda Niemann-Stirnemann . At the 2006 Olympic Winter Games of Turin was on long-haul Tenth. In 2005 she was also the Dutch champion over the 5000 meters and prevailed against Renate Groenewold and Gretha Smit , among others .

On December 9, 2015, she set a new hour record in Inzell with 40,569.56 meters.
