Carina Cappellari

Carina Cappellari (born November 6, 1991 in Walenstadt ) is a Swiss mountain biker . She rides downhill and has been Swiss champion three times in this discipline .

Life and career

Carina Cappellari started her career as a cross-country athlete. She later switched to downhill. At the 2012 World Cup race in Fort William , she fell badly on her stomach and suffered internal injuries. After the accident, she first needed a bit of distance and distracted herself with a language stay in Ireland .

She graduated from the sports high school in Davos and then obtained the commercial vocational diploma. She then completed a part-time bachelor's degree in business administration at the Chur University of Applied Sciences . She is currently working part-time as the head of operational processes and administration for an Austrian coffee company in Landquart . Carina Cappellari drives for Team Project.

In 2019 she ended her sports career to start a master's degree in business administration .
