Carl-Josef Rongen (born March 22, 1926 in Düsseldorf ; † November 21, 1995 ) was a German CDU politician .

education and profession

Carl-Josef Rongen attended the grammar school where he passed the Abitur. He completed the administration course with the final exam. From 1944 to 1945 he was in military service and in captivity. From 1951 he was a clerk or department head at the city administration of Düsseldorf. In 1967 he became director of the youth center in Düsseldorf of the Federation of German Catholic Youth.

politics

Carl-Josef Rongen was a member of the CDU from 1950. From 1954 he acted as local chairman of the CDU Düsseldorf. He was also a member of the district executive committee of the CDU Düsseldorf from 1954.

From July 23, 1962 to July 23, 1966, Carl-Josef Rongen was a directly elected member of the 5th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia for the constituency 045 Düsseldorf III.
