Location and transport links
The Carl-Orff-Gymnasium is next to the Therese-Giehse-Realschule. It can be reached by the MVV bus lines 215, 219 and 693 as well as by the Munich S-Bahn line 1. Its location is favored by the close proximity to the AquariUSH leisure pool and the Valentinspark .
main building
The COG was initially housed in the premises of the elementary school on Raiffeisenstrasse until the current main building on Münchner Ring was completed in 1980. Its architecture, which divides the building into three wings with a light interior area, which also houses the auditorium, makes it a transparent structure that enables teachers and students to meet. The blue and white striped sun sails are characteristic of the facade of the main building.
Extension buildings
The COG has been expanded again and again over the years. The reason was mostly the increasing number of students.
