Carl Bergman (born October 10, 1987 in Helsingborg ) is a former Swedish tennis player .

Career

Bergman played tournaments for the first time in 2006 on the third-rate ITF Future Tour , on which he won one singles and two doubles titles in 2007. In doubles he also played his first match with a Challenger in Tampere . At the end of the year he was in the top 700 of the world rankings . The years 2008 and 2009 were less successful. Only in doubles did he win another, third future title. With place 475 he was there in September 2008 at his career high.

In 2008 he played his first of three tournaments on the ATP Tour alongside Henrik Norfeldt in Båstad . Here they won their opening match, but were defeated in the quarterfinals by David Ferrer and Marc López . As with the other World Tour appearances in 2010 and 2011 in the same city, he benefited from a wildcard . It won a total of nine futures by 2011, but could not reach the level of the next higher categories. In singles, he did not play a single Challenger match. He won his second and final title there in 2011 in Israel, shortly before ending his career in early 2012. He reached his career high with 500 place in January 2012.
